The Galfer brake pad is manufactured using an organic semi-metal compound (non asbestos), delivering consistent braking response, improved progressiveness and braking power, reduced vibration and less wear on brake discs, with resistance to high temperatures and increased durability. Available in a range of compounds to suit different riding styles and brake systems.
To bed in, brake sparingly and gently for approximately 2 minutes downhill or 20-25 times per wheel, allowing the system to cool between applications, until the full friction surface is marked on the disc. Note that the Pro G1554T compound does not require bedding-in.
