Nowadays, bikers ride what used to be called downhill trails on Enduro bikes. The trails are getting rougher and the demands on the gear and rider are greater.

The E1900 Spline has been developed to deal with precisely these requirements. A proven aluminium rim and hand-laced steel spokes provide the reliability required from an Enduro wheel. The balance of weight and stiffness will put a smile on your face, whether you’re riding up or downhill.

Who's this for: The E1900 is designed for gravity focussed riders that love blowing up corners but don't want to blow up their bank account. You get all the things that are great about DT Swiss wheels, quality rims, hand-built. Just with a slight weight penalty over the more expensive models.

    RIMS: The M502 rim is featured in the M1900 Spline. This is the sleeved version of the All-Mountain XM481 rim. The M502 uses eyelets and no PHR. Both rims share an optimised balance of durability and weight. The 30mm inner width makes tubeless installation user friendly and creates the optimal support for 2.35" - 2.6" tyres.

    Rim Joint: The E1900 Spline uses rims that are connected with a sleeve joint, unlike the higher level aluminium rims which are welded. Sleeve joint rims use an accurate small aluminium insert that fits in the hollow cavity of the rim and aligns both bent profile ends. Securing the rim joint with the help of some high-strength structural glue.

    A sleeved rim is more cost-effective in production than a welded rim but fulfils the same testing requirements. Additional weight is minimal compared to high end welded rims.
