BikeYoke Barmate Handlebar - 35mm - 800mm - 50mm - Blue
The focus for Barmate Aluminium was clearly set for compatibility and stability. Even the widest direct mount stems known to us pose no problem for the 85mm clamping width of the Barmate Aluminium. Thanks to the mindful selection of high-quality materials and heat treatment, the Barmate Aluminium achieves highest safety standards (EFBE TRI-TEST® MTB-Gravity) by German test institute EFBE, while weighing in at an impressive 325g only. Developed for demanding riders who are looking for a strong aluminium handlebar for the toughest trails in the world.
Material: Al-7050 alloy with multi-stage heat treatment. Stem clamping width: 35mm. Rise: 25mm, 40mm. Width: 800mm. Stack: 50mm, 65mm. Reach: -35mm. Backsweep: 9°. Upsweep: 6°. Weight: ca. 325g.
Unlike most others, we are not referring to rise when it comes to defining handlebar height, but we're implementing stack, as a much more meaningful measure. Additionally and unprecedented, we are also specifying reach, which identifies as the effective setback of your handlebar, shortening the effective stem length. Stack and reach both refer to the neutral/construction orientation of the handlebar. The aim of stack an reach is to make handlebars directly comparable between brands, which currently is not possible.
The Barmate Aluminum has passed the Tri-Test of the German testing institute EFBE, meaning it can be used without restriction on enduro and downhill bikes. With a clamping range of 85mm, it is suitable for even the widest direct-mount stems.
